The Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) will run a series of instrument-specific short courses this spring, led by some of the country’s leading tutors and performers.

A day dedicated to the cornet will take place on Sunday 29 March, while Sunday 19 April hosts courses for euphonium, French horn, tenor horn, trombone and percussion.

Designed for players of ABRSM Grade 6+ (or equivalent) who are considering conservatoire study, planning a career in a performance setting or wishing to enhance their musical experience, each course provides exceptional learning opportunities through masterclasses and tuition in technique, performance and ensemble work. Participants will also receive advice on preparing for auditions and performances and have the opportunity to take part in a Q&A with tutors before presenting an informal concert for family and friends.
